Rationale and Instructions

The Trifecta Writing Challenge was created as a place where writers could contribute their work in an attempt to better their writing through friendly competition.  We thought that bloggers would enjoy coming together to create mini pieces of art once a week in response to a prompt.

We were right about that.

What we didn't foresee was that non-bloggers would want in on the action, too.  Even before our first prompt was published, we were asked if people who didn't have blogs could participate.  Yes, we replied.  Get a blog.  Alas, some people don't want a blog.  Or some people didn't have time to set one up. Several teachers have asked us how they might get their classes involved without having to set up thirty individual blogs.

We get it.

So we made Trifecta Anonymous: a loophole, a way to participate in a blogging competition without actually having a blog.  Or, a way to publish things that you'd prefer not be linked back to your good name.

Here's how we would like you to use Trifecta Anonymous:
  • You must follow all of the rules stated on the Trifecta Writing Challenge when writing your response.
  • Please paste your response into the body of an email.  Attachments will not be opened
  •  Email your response using the email address in the 'Submit' tab above
  • We will copy and paste your response into a post on Trifecta Anonymous.  We will then publish the post and copy the url into the link form on Trifecta Writing Challenge.
  •  If you are using Trifecta Anonymous because you don't have a blog of your own, please include your name as you would like it posted.
  • If you'd like to remain anonymous, please give a pseudonym that we can use with your post.
  • Please understand that if you send us an email two minutes before the close of the contest, it is highly likely that we will not have time to publish your post and fill in the link before it closes.
